Flat tax is inherently regressive

A flat tax won’t do anything to prevent overbilling for medical services and health insurance. That’s because it doesn’t do anything to control prices. Only a progressive tax controls that! A flat tax accelerates price float! It only makes the rich get richer, at the expense of the poor, and middle class! And information property accelerates the process! We’ve got to treat information as a public commons. Not property! Then these billing issues dissolve because the public would get unruly angry! Capitalism runs on creating the illusion of exceptionalism. Regardless of whether or not anything exceptional exists. This only provides a means to deprive the majority because they don’t stand out. This leads to economic censorship of the average. All the flat tax does is effectively cut taxes on the rich, relative to the poor. A progressive tax equalises the playing field by reducing the magnitude of economic class divide! It squeezes the rich, and the poor into the middle class!❀ Instead of magnifying the differences. The bigger the differences, the more profit is gained by exploiting these differences. Reduce these differences will remove the motivation for exploitation. We were taxing the rich at 90% during the post WWII era. And we had the greatest economy in history. And the middle class thrived!πŸ˜‡ This flat tax is bourgeois code for “let’s decimate the middle class and the poor. That way there’s more for us!” That’s pure laissez faire bs!😈 I want an egalitarian economy. And that takes balance between individualism/capitalism and collectivism/socialism. That’s what Mikhail Bakunin was saying. “We are convinced that liberty without socialism is privilege, injustice; and that socialism without liberty is slavery and brutality”. Sumpin to think about.🐯🎸🎡🐱
